Route and drive time
Budapest is about 245 kilometres east of Vienna. The drive follows the A4 to the border at Nickelsdorf and then the Hungarian M1 motorway past Győr. Without breaks it takes about 2½–3 hours each way.
In Budapest itself, your chauffeur drives you from place to place. For these rides, for example from the Castle District to Pest, allow some time for city traffic.
A suggested day
Budapest lies on both sides of the Danube: Buda with Castle Hill, Pest with Parliament and the city centre. Your chauffeur drives you from stop to stop.
